April Events at Stony Kill

The Stony Kill Foundation presents a Spring Ecology Extravaganza on Saturday, April 9, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.  Youngsters in grades 2 to 5 are invited to join us.  Spring has sprung! Take a look at the signs of the season with a hike around Stony Kill.  See the new baby animals. Plant seeds that you can bring home and watch grow.  Dress appropriately for the weather.  Meet at the Barn.
Pre-registration is required and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis by calling 845-831-1617.  For further information, call 831-1617.

On Sunday, April 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Barn Classroom, adults are invited to join us in welcoming spring at our Embroider an Easter Egg Wall Hanging workshop.  The workshop includes history of the needle art, demonstration of the stitches, step by step instruction, tea and light repast, as well as all supplies.  Pre-registration is required and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis by calling 845-831-1617.  The fee for the workshop is $20.00 per person.
