July Rain Building Workshops

The Dutchess Watershed Coalition will be hosting three Rain Barrel Building Workshops throughout the month of July as part of Dutchess Watershed Awareness Month. At each of these workshops you will learn how to build a 55-gallon rain barrel that you will take home. The cost of the workshop is $45. Space is limited and registration is required. To register, contact Angela at (845) 677-8223, ext. 114. Your spot in the workshop is not held until we receive your payment. These workshops fill quickly and are on a first come, first serve basis.

Rain barrels capture runoff from rooftops during storms to use later to water your lawn or garden.  Using a rain barrel can help save money on water bills, conserve water, and manage stormwater runoff.  At this hands-on workshop, we will provide a 55-gallon food-grade plastic barrel and all the materials you need to build your own!
